Fire Risk Assessment

MaltbyPC are experienced in the provision of Fire Risk Assessments. We provide the service for most structure types requiring compliance within the commercial, light industrial and retail environments. All assessments are completed in compliance with the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order 2005.

This certification is mandatory to your responsibilities as an employer, owner, landlord or occupier of business premises or other non-domestic premise. You are legally the responsible person for fire safety and continuing management of the FSO 2005 within your premises.

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 clearly identifies your responsibilities and what you are required to undertake to comply with the law. Thats where MaltbyPC can assist you and ease the pressure to comply. Our staff are trained and certified to the NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management level and have wide experience in providing expert assistance and guidance to legally responsible persons.

We will undertake the following to ensure your compliance with the 2005 Act:

• Undertake a detailed assessment of the existing premises.
• Discuss the findings and adequacy of the present precautions within your premises.
• If risk exists we will advise accordingly and assist with implementing if required. Although not a mandatory requirement having regular ad hoc visits ensures that compliance is maintained.
• Not only will you benefit from our experience you have the added comfort that our inspections and recommendation will ensure that your premises are in compliance with the act and if the worst should happen we can support any action required to evidence your compliance.

MaltbyPC are independent surveyors with extensive experience in providing mandatory risk and assessments for our clients all of which are recognised by the respective governing bodies. If you are unfortunate enough to need to prove your actions in the event of a fire our Risk Assessment and historic records of visits and actions can be used as evidence in support of historic compliance.
